Kung Fu

Ages 12 through adult

Instruction is offered in Tiger-Crane Hung Gar style kung fu (虎鹤 洪拳功夫).   With roots going back over two centuries to the celebrated Wong Fei Hung and beyond, this southern Chinese kung fu system emphasizes strong stances, with long and short hand techniques, encompassing straight, circular, and angular movements.  A whole-body workout!  

Health & Wellness

 Study of traditional kung fu facilitates personal growth and self-improvement -- both short-term and long-term.  At the same time, traditional kung fu movements form the foundation of the modern cardio kickboxing class, and hence can serve as an important component of an overall fitness plan.

Our Curriculum

Instruction begins with fundamentals and form sequences and builds from there. Sequences include empty hand, application, and weapons forms.

Mind & Body

Ultimately, such training helps develop increasingly refined integration of body, mind, and spirit, as an important part of living a happy, healthy, and successful life.

Visitors are welcome at any time. 8-week beginner sessions offered twice per year - $100 for up to 16 classes. Regular pricing starts at $15/class for drop-ins and decreases to $10/class or less with frequency of training.
